Don't Quote Me On That

Throwback Thursday

This seems to be the big thing on Instagram and twitter at the moment and seen as though I haven't updated in so long, I think it's a really good idea to do a bit 'Throwback Thursday' (or #tbt) post today.

So much has changed since I've been at university... Most dramatically, my hair so this post is all about my changing locks...

I love that I can experiment with my hair because it is so versatile. I've had blonde hair most of my life but at Christmas, I returned from the hairdressers as a brunette! It's still taking some time to get used to it it is so much easier to maintain!

Have you ever done anything crazy with you hair?

Kim & Kanye: The King & Queen Of Monochrome

They’re the couple of the moment (Well in my eyes) and i cant get enough.

Despite part owning the fashion emporium Dash, Kim Kardashian has her beau Kanye West to thank for her latest style transformation.

The rapper started dating Kardashian not long after her marriage to Kris Humphries broke off and has since became her full time fashion guru.
Kim’s style has dramatically changed since dating Mr West giving off an all round more polished look. Take her sleek backed hair for example, a little different to the fuller, highlighted bouncy curls we once knew her for.

The couple are most often spotted sporting head to toe black and white ensembles, with a bit of leather or embellishment added in all the right places.

The most recent word on the street is that Kanye has been asking his close pal Anna Wintour to put Kim on the cover of American Vogue. Who knows if that will ever happen but I can honestly say, I’m loving the Kanye effect.

With their first baby girl haven just been born, you can only begin to imagine the wardrobe envy we will have when we get a sneak peak at baby North West.

Be That Blogger

I haven't blogged in so long and it's getting a bit out of hand! I absolutely love blogs and could sit and read through them for hours and hours and for the past couple of years I've really wanted to start my own. So many things have seemed to get in the way of me actually doing this, wether it be university work or just being pure lazy, for whatever reason I've just never stuck to it! But now I'm really going to make an effort because I want my blog to be successful!

I plan on updating this blog regularly and include lots of fun, interesting and personal content which you will hopefully enjoy!

Here goes....

// NAKED

Ok, so i'll admit it, I'm not a huge beauty fan. I don't invest a lot of money in beauty products like most of you probably will. (IKR, Weird!)But recently, I've been reading more and more beauty posts on blogs and i've found myself actually really enjoying them! So even though this is completely new to me and I don't know much about the beauty industry at all. i'm going to do my first ever beauty post and talk about two of my new products!(SCARY!!)The first product I want to talk about it the Urban Decay NAKED Basics Palette. Now, I don't often wear eye shadows but have owned the Urban Decay NAKED palette for a while now and often wear it on nights out. A few weeks ago, everyone at work was talking about the new NAKED Basics palette so i thought i'd try it. This pallette, unlike the other, features matte and satin shades. Recently, on the blog posts that I've been reading, alot of people have been saying the palette is either uninspiring or boring. Personally i love it! For someone who doesn't often wear any eye makeup except mascara, i think this is the perfect everyday palette. I mean, its all in the name really, 'BASIC'. What more could you ask for? The soft subtile colours blend in with most skin tones, and the darkest colour 'CRAVE' is perfect over liquid eyeliner as it reinforces the liner for a dark dramatic statement eye look. I can honestly say I'm really happy i purchased this product! URBAN DECAY NAKED BADICS PALETTE - £21 DEBENHAMS COLOURS - VENUS, FOXY, WALK OF SHAME, NAKED 2, FAINT AND CRAVE.
The second product i want to talk about is the REVLON, ColourStay Mineral Finishing Powder. I SWEAR BY THIS PRODUCT, the only problem is, the line is discontinued. I buy this product from a small independent makeup store in Newcastle, and I'm really considering stocking up as i don't know what i would do if i ran out. This product is amazing. I use this as an everyday Bronzer. Some people have said MAC have a similar mineralising finishing powder but most MAC Products aren't in my price range at the moment. I love having that golden bronzed look and this is just amazing. I know i'm not giving a really good analysis of this product right now but i just cant put it into words how amazing this product really is. The only negative i have is that the powder has quite alot of shimmer in, so you have to be careful not to apply too much. It looks really great on a night out and you can also use it on your arms and legs too. So if you come across this amazing find, then don't just walk buy, pick one up!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
REVLON COLOURSTAY MINERAL FINISHING POWDER - £4.99 030 SUNKISS RADIEUX Hope you enjoyed this post, and i'll share some more of my beauty must haves with you all soon!C

// My Hair Don't Care

Since being at university, i've been so experimental with my hair! I love the feelings of a new haircut and i love how versatile my hair can be. Ive had blonde hair all my life and i was getting so bored so.... I'VE DYED IT BROWN!!!I went to Howarth Hairdresser's in Durham. I always worry when i book a hair appointment however at Howarth's, they always have such a long consultation with me and always manage to get it exactly how i want it!
BEFORE AND AFTER Don't get me wrong, I loved having blonde hair but i just could never keep it a nice colour for long. After searching through endless instagram accounts and hair and beauty blogs, and putting it off for so long i finally decided to get it dyed brown and i honestly couldn't be happier. i dont know what it is but i feel so much more confident and my hair just looks so much healthier. Feel free to share with me your hair makeovers! C

// To Much Love For Mr.Campbell

Thanks to the fashion bloggers of today, i have been introduced to the wonderful world of JC's. I have never been a huge shoe lover (IKR, How can someone not love shoes?) But all i can say is Mr Jeffery Campbell has completely rocked my world. My favourite shoe is of course the Lita. Its structure, its shape, its height and it's comfort, there's no other like it.
Heres my favourite picks of Jeffery Campbells including The Beebee, The Corieone Wedge, and The shadow Spike.
Whats your favourite pair of Jeffery Campbell shoes? C
